Select Integrator Data Science Automation Honored with Pittsburgh Fastest Growing Companies Award

--- The Pittsburgh Business Times, Pittsburgh’s exclusive weekly magazine covering business and the economy of the Pittsburgh area, last week named Data Science Automation (DSA), a National Instruments Select Integrator, among the top 100 fastest growing companies in Pittsburgh. Now in its fourth year, this year’s Pittsburgh 100 Award is a comprehensive ranking by percentage increase in sales and percentage increase in employment over the three-year period 1997-1999. In order to qualify for this year’s Pittsburgh 100, a company must have at least $500,000 in revenues in 1997. Pittsburgh 100 companies represent all types of companies, including Technology, Environmental, Health Care, Manufacturing, Real Estate/Construction/ Development, Retail/Wholesale Distribution, and Service. The companies range in size from $1 million to $50 million in revenues last year. DSA was ranked 9th among the technology companies and 17th overall. Over the past three-year period, DSA experienced sales growth of 181% and employment growth of 262%.
