Data Science Automation Inc. Recognized for Achievements in Advanced Manufacturing with the Tech 50 Award

Pittsburgh, PA, October 2004 --- The Pittsburgh Technology Council recognized Data Science Automation, Inc. for achievements in Advanced Manufacturing at the Pittsburgh Technology 50 awards ceremony on October 14, 2004. Awards were given in five industry categories: advanced manufacturing, biomedical, information technology, rising star, and service provider. CEO of the year was also awarded.

The Advanced Manufacturing category encompasses industries that are largely automated and that use a high degree of process controls, such as computer numerical control systems, robotics, advanced IT systems and other automated systems. Businesses that develop and install these systems for other manufacturers are also included in this category. DSA was included with the top 10 companies in the Advanced Manufacturing category for consistently applying technology to provide ROI-centric automation solutions to research, manufacturing and business operations worldwide.

The Pittsburgh Tech 50 is the Pittsburgh Technology Council's premier event where fifty companies headquartered in the 13-county southwestern Pennsylvania region are recognized. The award criteria include revenue growth, job creation, innovation and corporate citizenship, among others. This is the third consecutive year that DSA has been honored with this award. DSA has been a finalist in the Advanced Manufacturing category four times in the last six years and has received numerous other "fastest growing" and economic development awards.
