Ranked in the Top 50 Fastest-Growing Technology Companies
Pittsburgh PA, October 13, 1999 --- Data Science
Automation, Inc. today announced being commemorated as
achieving status in the third annual Pittsburgh Technology
50. The Pittsburgh Technology 50 is an annual search conducted
by the Pittsburgh Technology Council in partnership with
Arthur Andersen LLP to identify the explosive growth of
the leading-edge technology companies in Western Pennsylvania,
Eastern Ohio, and West Virginia. The Pittsburgh Technology
50 ranks regional technology heavy hitters in five revenue
divisions ranging from $1 million to $100 million-plus.
DSA is ranked 6th in the $1 million to $5 million category
and 11th in the overall competition with a growth rate
of 852% during the three year period of 1996 through 1998.
With nearly 1,000 in attendance, an awards dinner and
presentation was held October 13th at the Pittsburgh
Hilton & Towers, where the top-50 companies received
crystal statues to honor their achievement. Eric Haseltine,
Senior Vice President of Walt Disney's Imagineering,
was the featured speaker.
Richard M. Brueggman, President and CEO, was born,
raised and educated in Pittsburgh. Now, he is an employer
of regional technical talent consisting of engineers,
scientists and programmers.
